The owner/operator of an extremely popular local live music venue and bar was always too busy to think about having a website for his business. After a while though, customers had been encouraging him to get one. Once I reached out to him with a free website demo, he was eager to hire me to bring the vibrancy of his bar to life in a new website for his business. I incorporated the rock n' roll vibe that is so prevalent in the bar into the website with colors, fonts, and images throughout the it. He also wanted to focus on their live music events, so I made sure to highlight this aspect of the bar with a detailed events page. The client was extremely happy and excited that it reflected the atmosphere of his bar.
Premium Services
Although this client was thrilled to have a website to represent his business, he knew he did not have the time to update his own website, let alone learn how to. He also needed help connecting his new website to his business's current Google profile. He chose the Website Management & Maintenance and Google Business Profile set up premium services to solve these issues. Each month, I receive the bar's monthly lineup for live entertainment, which I use to update the website with. On their events page, I add all the dates and times of performances, titles, pictures, and descriptions of the performers, along with links to their Facebook and/or website pages. I also update pictures on the website whenever necessary. Lastly, I made sure to properly connect his website to the current Google profile by accessing the proper channels that he otherwise may not have been able to do on his own.
